At present Protx has NOT been provided with a comprehensive guide to setting up the 1 Shopping Cart product - therefore these guidelines have been produced from the Protx support team's experience when dealing with 1 Shopping cart customers.

PLEASE NOTE - these guidelines are ONLY for the inputting of information and setting up the cart with regards to Protx; please contact the 1 Shopping Cart Support Team for any further cart information.




General Integration Guidelines

All information needed to setup the 1 Shopping Cart to integrate with Protx is entered by logging into your 1 Shopping Cart admin area - http://www.1shoppingcart.com/

Please see the screenshots below which show the "Step 1: Basic Options" section located in the 1 Shopping Cart admin area.

Within this section the following information relevant to Protx must be entered or confirmed;
  • Currency: The chosen currency MUST also be present on your Protx account.

  • Currency Symbol: This MUST match the chosen currency selected.


  • 1 Shopping Cart also provide the ability for order confirmation emails to be sent out to customers (please note that it is NOT Protx who send these emails but the shopping cart itself) - the following fields will need to be completed in order for confirmation emails to be sent;

  • Order Notice Email - Primary Destination: This is primary recipient (customer) of the confirmation email.

  • Order Notice Email - Secondary Destination: This is secondary recipient (customer) of the confirmation email.

  • Order Notice Email - From Address: This is the sender of the confirmation email (i.e the "from" field)





Secondly, you will need to enter information on the "Step 3: Realtime Processing" section (please see screenshots below).

Within this section the following information relevant to Protx must be entered or confirmed;
  • Cards Accepted: The chosen cards MUST be present on your Protx account.

  • Realtime Payment Gateway: This MUST be set to "PROTX".

  • Realtime ID / Login Code: This is your Protx "VendorName" - PLEASE NOTE - If you are still testing with Protx then you need prefix your vendor name with "(test)" - i.e.

    Testing with Protx = (test)'VendorName'
    Live with Protx = 'VendorName'


  • Authorize & Capture or Authorize Only: This option determines the payment type you would like to use - PLEASE NOTE - This payment type must be setup on your Protx account.

    Authorize & Capture = Real Time Payment
    Authorize Only = Deferred





Additional Information

Please make sure that the following IP Addresses of the 1 Shopping Cart web servers are added to you Test and/or Live Protx accounts before attmepting to register a transaction with the Protx payment gateway;
