PayPal Express Checkout

Protx has integrated with PayPal Express Checkout giving you the opportunity to add PayPal as a payment option on your payment pages!


This facility is available to merchants who are a certified PayPal Business Account holder. If you do not already have a PayPal Business Account, then you can apply for a PayPal account now.


This additional service can be included in your package at no additional cost. Standard PayPal transaction fees apply. Protx will only charge you our standard transaction rates, according to the Protx package you choose.


How does it work?


The PayPal payment option will be available for your customer to select on the payment screen alongside the other card types activated on your Protx account.

How do I set up PayPal on my Protx account?


At the moment, the PayPal payment option is only available to VSP Form and VSP Server users who use the Protx payment pages.


1. Sign up to a PayPal account:


If you do not already have a PayPal Business account you can sign up at the following link: www.paypal.co.uk/protx


2. Adjust the settings in your PayPal account:


Adjust the setting in your PayPal account to accept payments through Protx. For information on how to do this please read the 'Activating PayPal on your Protx account' section.


3. Adjust the settings in your Protx account:


Log into your VSP Admin account and adjust your account to add PayPal as a payment method. For further information on how to do this please read the 'Activating PayPal on your Protx account' section.


** Please note that PayPal payments processed through Protx are not covered by Seller Protection at this time. **
