VSP Direct Integration Guidelines

Please use the following instructions to set up Protx VSP Direct in UniTrader:

1. Click on Catalogue tab at the top.



2. Click on the Settings link from the toolbar.



3. Click on the Payment Methods on the left hand side.



4. Select “Pay by credit card online” payment method and click ‘Edit Payment method’ from the toolbar.



5. Select ‘Protx’ as Payment Service Provider. The following dialog appears:

6. Click on “Configure Provider …” button to setup Protx settings.



7. Select “VSP Admin Test Mode” if your Proxt account is in Test VSP Admin. Please note that you will need to switch to “VSP Admin Live Mode” when your Protx account goes live.



8. Enter Vendor Name as provided by Protx.



9. Select Payment Mode:
   
   a. PAYMENT. This is the default Payment Mode. If selected the transaction funds transferred immediately to your account at the time of the transaction.
   b. DEFFERED. This mode just reserves the transaction amount on the customerr’s card but you have to “complete” the transaction for the funds to be transferred into your account (this typically needs to be done within 5 days since the transaction). This helps avoiding transaction bank charges in case of the fraudulent transaction.
   c. PREAUTH. Please contact Protx for more information about this payment mode.

11. Check ‘Enable secure integrated Checkout Card Payment Details page’ if you want to use VSPDirect service for credit card processing. Please note that SSL certificate must be installed and valid for the shop domain name for this option to work correctly.



12. Click Done to save “Pay by Credit Card Online” payment method settings.
