What is VSP Live Admin
VSP Admin is the Protx administration area that allows you to manage your Protx Account.
The Live VSP Admin area allows you to view all your Live transactions, refund payments, release deferred payments and void transactions processed through the Live server that have been sent to your acquiring bank for card authorisation. This is identical to your Test VSP Admin area and should be familiar to you.
If your account has NOT gone live, you will need to log into VSP Admin on the Test Server and complete your testing.

How do I log into my Live VSP Admin Account?
The first time you log into Live VSP Admin you need to do so as an Administrator. The Administrator account allows you to create, manage and delete user accounts.
You can access VSP Admin on the Live Server by following this link:
To log in as an Administrator enter the following details:
Vendor Name: Enter your VSP Vendor Name
User Name: Enter your VSP Vendor Name
Password: Enter your VSP Admin password
If you have not already done so you can access these details by following the retrieval web address that is included in your live account email. If you cannot find your retrieval link please email support@protx.com who will be able to provide this information to you. You will need your merchant number registered with Protx to hand.
Once you have successfully logged into your account as the Administrator you can create a new user account, allowing you to view transactions and perfrom functions such as refunds as necessary.
What if my account gets locked out?
You are allowed a total of 3 attempts to log into VSP Admin before you will be locked out of the account.
If you enter the incorrect information 3 times you will be provided with the following error:
If you have entered incorrect user account details and are locked out of your user account, you will need to log in as the Administrator and unlock the user account in question.
You can unlock the desired user(s) by clicking the
button.
N.B. If you have forgotten your user passwords, you can use the
button and enter a new password.
If you have entered incorrect Administrator details and are locked out of your Administrator account, you will need to contact Protx support to request that they unlock it for you. Email unlock@protx.com making sure that you list your VSP Vendor Name.
This request must come from the primary contact listed on your Protx account.
N.B. If you close your browser without correctly logging out of the system your user account will be frozen for 15 minutes, as our system will still think you are logged in.
To log off you should click the
button in the top left of your VSP Admin screen.
Our system refreshes every 15 minutes, which will clear your session and allow you to log back in again (or the Administrator can unlock the account).

Forgotten your unique account details?
If you have forgotten either your VSP Vendor Name and / or VSP Admin Password and you are unable to locate your live account email, you will need to email support@protx.com and request our support team re-send the relevant account information to you.
N.B. The email request must come from the Primary Contact listed on your accout and the passwords will be emailed back to you in the form of a password retrieval web adddress that takes you to your password retrieval page. You will need your merchant number registered with Protx in order to complete the retrieval process.
If you have forgotten the correct user details and / or passwords for any of the users YOU have created then you will need to log in as an Administrator (using your VSP Vendor Name and VSP Admin Password). Once logged in as an Administrator you will be able to edit your user account details or unlock the account if required.
N.B. It is your responsibility to create and manage your own user accounts. Protx will NOT know the passwords that you have assigned to your user accounts.
